sorry but I dont think it is, that minor gap is probably due to die deterioration. Get a close up of the fg just to be sure.

Sadly my suspicion was right it is not a WAM the WAM has a bit more of a gap and the fg has a G with a serif this appears to be a straight g. Keep looking cause they are still out there.

No, it's not a WAM.
To be a WAM, the space between the A an the M would be the same as the space between the M and the E.

To me this looks like some sort of deterioration of the die but its hard to say 100%
