the coin Is graded. It is a FS-901 63. Through ANACS. I don't know yet what that would sell for. Does anyone have a guess?
I wouldn't even want to venture a guess anymore. Check to see if there's any completed listings; a little google digging may be somewhat fruitful as well. Again, congrats!
depends on the grade, here are the ebay completed listings: ANACS AU58 - $75 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-Lincol...148144?hash=item25bb004970:g:XqcAAOSwS7hXAH7d MS raw - 68.50 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-1C-Wid...332442?hash=item4afdc825da:g:QvEAAOSwlfxXHDo6 PCGS MS65 red - 250 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-P-LINC...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Oh, sorry. I thought you had it. Is that the only one you had graded? I love it when coins are coming back from the TPG'ers, it's like Christmas!
Yes. My first one graded. I will post pics though. Yeah, I'm looking to sell it. I want to keep it, but we have bills.
I seen those, so I'm guess around the 200 range. I hope they give me a sell price with the information they send with it. I'm guessing they will.
Good luck. Let us know how things go. I have one that I found a year or so ago. I think the market has really dropped on these since more have been found.
This is just my 2c worth, but don't get your hopes up too high on any auction results. The AU58 that sold for $75 just 3 days ago had only one bidder. If the same holds true for your listing, it could sell for even less. I hope not, but I wouldn't want to bet on it. Chris
I'm not sure how I will sell it yet. I would just like to get at least what it is worth, maybe a little lower.
Unfortunately, coins are only "worth" what someone will pay. Obviously, the more who see them the more that may be. I just put a group of "cherrypicked" Morgan dollars in an auction (1882-O/S, 1899-O for "Micro O", 1900-O/CC, etc.) and they barely sold for $20 over melt. Most collectors want to find their own coins rather than pay for one. That's just the way it is. The grade is very important. If OUR coins came back as MS-66 or higher we would make out $$$$! If you live in a city with a coin dealer, you might let him take it on consignment. After some price research, tell him he can keep anything it sells for over say $150. Hopefully he'll go to some shows with it.
eBay tip: End your auction on a Sunday evening around 8 or 9 pm. Eastern Standard time. Most sales occur on Sunday evening when people are at home after a busy weekend. I bet you get it sold for a good price, especially with Fathers Day next month. The coin would make a great gift for a collector. IMHO
