Wonder what makes this person think that is a wam, might send a friendly msg when I get on home comp letting them know it isn't http://m.ebay.com/itm/1999-1C-Wide-...3D172377644347&_trksid=p2056116.c100408.m2460
Cent does not appear red, to me. Also, if you are really trying to sell a modern error coin, the condition should be as high as possible. This coin looks like it was in the wheels of someone's skateboard for a year.
And if you are trying to sell something at least make sure it is what you say it is. This sellers pictures are mediocre at best but even with these pics I can tell it's not a wam.

While it is nice that this coin is MS-63, I would hesitate to buy or label a zinc penny as RB. I bet the zinc will lose that color even in the holder. Copper is a much different animal. (On a diff. topic) There are TONS of toned zincs, but to me they are worthless and it is just due to the crappy cheapness of the metal involved. Natural toning takes time. Decades. These zincs start toning the day they are released into circulation.
In a way your absolutely right once it starts oxidizing unless you keep it %100 airtight it will continue to oxidize so yeah if I was a 3rd party grader I'd refrain from putting things like red or rb.
Like I have mentioned in the past.. I don't care much for WAM's and CAM's. But I'm adding this item onto my watch list to see which fool gets it
I'm no coin expert but this variety I've studied for a long time and have found 4 99's. Myself. The best way to tell is by looking at the fg
I sent a msg to seller letting them know so we will see if it stays up..and hey I can't help but love these they have made me money that I spent on stuff I do want. I sold one last week :d
