I don't believe this coin would be graded as authentic based on both pictures of the ebay listing. I think it's going to get "tooled" and the circulation scratches were done to hide the tooling, way too much activity in the area on the obverse of the diemarkers for that to be "circulation wear" in that spot. </p><p><br /></p><p>And yeah anything someone can take a dollar and get someone to pay $2K for it, there's opportunity for someone to scam. I am sure the seller would claim "wasn't me, it's how I found it, and it looked good to me!"</p><p><br /></p><p>Rush it to where ever company you want, to get it authenticated and return it and cancel the payment with Ebay when they won't attribute it. it's worth $1 if nobody will authenticate it.</p><p><br /></p><p>You have 30 days from receipt to know for sure, unless you just like paying $2K for something questionable that you might find out it's worth $1 later on. </p><p><br /></p><p>If it's legit after authentication and they slab it, crack it out afterwards and use it for whatever you like, but that's a heck of a lot of money for some rando dude that doesn't even really sell coins on ebay with a 14 feedback and 2 negatives over the past 12 months.
