1999 p nickel double die?

    In my opinion, No, DDD or die deterioration doubling. It's usually a good idea to post Full Image photos, of the entire coin, front and back, for better evaluation. Try using wexler's site (http://www.doubleddie.com/1801.html), http://www.error-ref.com and other sites to try and confirm your finds. Welcome to CT BTW.

    What Mountain Man said. Welcome to Coin Talk. I agree, your coin appears to have what we call Die Deterioration Doubling. It is very common and does not add value to the coin. The correct term is Doubled Die for coins that were struck from Doubled dies are created when the hub imprints an additional, misaligned image onto a die.
