1999 P Connecticut Quarter Plating Error

    i have a 1999 p conneticut quarter that weighs 5.5 grams,no reeded edges,ob,and rev are very smooth,possible weak strike?/ and some of the tree branches are goldish,..is that somethin by chance?

    post mint damage. This coin spent some time in a commercial clothes dryer

    Welcome to Coin Talk. As @paddyman98 said, you should start a new thread to get more opinions. If you do start one, include a few details such as weight, diameter, etc. ziggy9 could be right about it being a dryer coin, but I'm not sure it is and would like to see more opinions.     Anyone know about fabric imprinted in coins? I found a 1999 cincinnati quarter with fabric imprints on both front and back of coin.
