Everything is a VAM and this cent is no exception.

 

From my collection -

 

The term is WAM. It refers to the reverse spacing between the AM in America.
It is a transitional die error. Some proof reverse die got mixed with the business strike dies from 98=2000.
VAM only refers to Morgan dollars. IE= Leroy Van Allen and George Mallis.

 

I think I'll put you on my christmas list of people to send a sense of humor to this year.

Again, EVERYTHING is a VAM, even things that aren't coins and you forgot P$'s.

you are crossing the boundaries of numismatics, Yes there are varieties and atributions. But, VAM only has to do with Morgn Dollars, why don't we just say that it is a Snow or a Cohen?
