Sure enough, I split open the roll and amongst the copper shine was a silver penny. I immediately gave it to a numismatist friend for safe keeping. He put it in a cellophane/cardboard holder and said he didn&#039;t have a clue about it. I haven&#039;t thought about it until I rediscovered it a few moments ago. </p><p><br /></p><p>Only two people have held this coin, so I guess it would be considered uncirculated. I kept a roll of new quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies from that year, so I can show you what kind of wrapper it was in when I found it. </p><p><br /></p><p>I will upload pics once my wife gets home with our good camera.
