1999 d penny nose error ?

    I don't know but could the lines on his nose be for a cloth error. First one like this I've seen so far. Also the "Liberty" is smeared up or something. Doubling underneath.

    No. They are scratches that occurred after the cent left the Mint. It's called Post Mint Damage or PMD. Your cent is worth face value. Welcome to CT.
