1998 P Dime Collar Error?

    Not sure what this is called, but there is a 'raised' area on the collar, and the area is thicker and shows 'doubling' on the reeds.

    Finning or Finned Rim

    Notice the Reverse looks like a Misaligned Die Strike. Could be the cause of the Finning due to a higher pressure strike on just one side

    I really don't see anything on the edge, the rim could be finning or a small rim cud.
