1998 D Penny Close AM

Hello Every One. I have been collecting coins as a kid and took a break. Now I am back on track and adding to my coin collection. I found this 1998 D Penny and Think its a Close AM strike.

Can I get your opinion on my penny? Is this the real deal?

I'd call that a close AM.

 

Does the 1998 D Variety have any value?

 

There are no known 1998-D Wide AM varieties, so this coin is normal and worth 1 cent.

 

If it was a 1992 you would have something.

 

Is there a 1998 no mint close AM,that is worth more then 1cent?

You would need to look for a 1998 S - San Francisco CLOSED AM or a 1998 Philadelphia WIDE AM.
