1998 D Lincoln penny DDR/DDO

    Is this DDR, on NorthWest of building on lincolns Right side, one colum over.
    Also on E of ONE. And C of CENT.
    Also Lincoln's pants and shirt theres lines runing horizontal.

    ?DDO on 8 of Date and may be on 98

    For this date/mm, there are DDRs, but they relate to the columns in the Memorial. Look there for clues. I don't see any myself, so this looks like a regular circulated cent. Good luck on the hunt!!

    @Danomite Yes. One of the tell-tale signs on worn dies (LDS and VLDS especially) the outer devices are mushy (copper/nickel) or have that halo-effect on the letters and last digits of the date (like the Zincolns). The dies are no longer crisp, so the flow of material changes around the devices/design and present as flow/swirls in the fields.
