1997 p quarter has some type of raised bump. Maybe a clash.

But don't seem to have a place on the obverse to be a clash.

When a piece of metal breaks away from the die it shows up as raised metal on the coin.

 

Yes that is from a die clash. The same clash that causes the spitting eagle which seems to be partially present on this coin. The spot you are seeing is from the area where Washington's Eye meets his nose. If you look at the obverse you will notice a very similar diamond shape in that area. There are overlay pictures but I don't have one handy.
