You don't see the difference? Measure from the same spot from the top of the ear to the bottom of the lobe. Use a pen and note the different between the two ears. They are different. The one on the left is the DDO.
Does not look like a match. Doesn't matter what setup you used, Rick...the doubled die should be easy enough to spot with a wide variety of different equipment and lighting angles. Coop is one of the most knowledgable people I could think of when it comes to die varieties. I would take his word on it.
You're wasting your breath trying to convince this OP. The man sees just what he wants to see and will not take no for an answer. Everyone else here knows it's not FS-043.
Well the last two images are the same. They are two sizes of the same image. Note the freckles on the two images!
do I have to do everything, the only reason post thoses 2 images together, is so they will enlarge, 1 image won't enlarge
Here photo page one. Compare, one thing I do know is in hand your eyes can see more shadows while taking photo can hide parts need to see.
Rick this looks like it may be a doubled ear to me , you may want to let Potter take a look at it. It even looks like the top of the ear may also have the doubling , it's really hard to get a good image of the 97 doubled ear.
Good new everyone its a double ear with the top of the ear doubled too . Went to the powerpoint show for coneca last night, Mr. Potter didn't have much spare time so he could only look at three coins, and this was one of them ..
That's great news rick.I have a bunch of those. But I was'nt sure about it.So thanks for all the work you put in on this one and the info.Your lucky to see MR.potter ive sent him 200 emails with no reply.HE'S a very busy man.
Rick, it looked to me like you got it. Even when the side-by-side photos were disoriented, and improperly-sized, I could see it. Good eye, there.
