So, it wasn't meant to come off as an indirect.

I truely don't have to work, my new husband treats me well. I love working and have done it mostlyon my own since my 1st child in 1998. So working is all I know. Sonetimes the drunks on overnights is overwhelming but I manage. Thank you for the kind welcome.

Well said. Never mind the critics, because we all have them.

All joking aside, I am sorry to hear you are in constant pain. I would not be able/willing to endure it.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

Thanks, Dan. I lived my first 54 years almost never seeing a doctor. All of a sudden one night everything changed pretty much forever. It bites. They say you'll get used to it. I don't. The worst part is the only thing that works are addictive dangerous drugs, like morphine.

Ironically, my current focus at work is the opioid/heroin crisis that is killing people by the thousands.

Lately, I have seen some YouTube videos on chronic, terminal pain sufferers pleading for someone to provide them with Nembutal to peacefully die in their sleep. Not that I recommend this to anyone, but I have decided this would be preferable to the suffering for me if I ever get there.

I have only found one error. it was a reverse struck through debris on a 1911 Barber dime. it was unattributed from a seller on eBay. I actually took a big risk in purchasing it and sending it in to be graded. I was lucky everything worked out. Kurt is right, the odds of finding a genuine error in circulation are about as good as me hitting the Powerball.

Okay! Now that we have addressed all of our personal problems, and Brandy has so ably defended herself, can we please get back to the original subject?

Brandy, do you have a scale that measures the weight to the nearest hundredth of a gram? We can probably arrive at a reasonable conclusion about your coin with this info.

    Chris

PS. I don't go to Waffle House because they don't have corned beef hash.:(:(:(:(:(

No and it being a holiday weekend...i will probably be able to take it to a pawn shop, my friend owns, to get it weighed. That means after work on Tues or on Wed. I have a busy schedule on Tues due to work, homeschooling my 2 youngest, registering my new ride, etc. So more than likely on Wed and I will post itimmediately. what is the weight supppsed to be? BTW, everyone say they wish we had corned beef hash.lol. Bit my absolute favorite request is ... "Do you have turkey bacon?" My response is... "waffle house is not that fancy."

Interesting thread. Good post, Brandy. Way to come around, Kurt. After 27 surgeries I know what pain, acute and chronic, is. The challenge is to live a grateful life "in spite of" whatever hand we've been dealt (or the bad choices we've made in the past). Just this morning I thought "Wow, I'm walking really well today in spite of two artificial hips!" Thanks to all of you helping to keep CT a civil place. Costs nothing to do that, just some self-restraint at times; a problem I continue to struggle with.

The normal weight is 5.67 grams. Your specimen is not that far off given that Mint tolerances (+/-) might account for the difference. It's just something you might want to consider before you spend $40 or so to have it graded and authenticated. Also, keep in mind that the condition of yours is not the best.

I am sorry to hear about your pain, too. All I can do is wish you well and hope you can still get some enjoyment from this life. Also, greetings from a fellow Minnesotan.
