I recently started looking for new errors trading in coin rolls for coin rolls at the supermarket, bank, 7-11 etc.. I have been successful so far in my first 3 attempts, I bagged a Arizona state quarter with two extra reeds over the initials and the top part of the B in liberty filled in. Yesterday I found a 1943P war nickel in a roll from the bank which was the first silver I have found in circulation in my time as a numismatist.

So I come to the 3rd day of my search today and I just found a 1997D double die obverse, The "O" and the "D" in God are doubled very strongly the extra line of the D goes through the D and has a strong shadow on the outside as well, and the O looks like two O's overlapped but the D is beautiful and I would say the O is just pretty. I was wondering if anyone has heard about this coin? Is this a famous one? Has this one been found before? What kind of value would I be looking at or should I keep it? How do I make this coin knowledge to the rest of the coin world if it is a rare find that isn't well known. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and I look forward to your advice's.

Jonathan
