Looks like die gouges. They flow behind the devices, so they are on the outside edge of the die. Nothing during a clash would make these:
They're too irregular in width to be from die polishing. I'm wondering if they came from a heavier metal brush, possibly like one that would be used to remove grease or dirt from a die. Chris

As Coop said, they are too irregular for feeder finger damage. They would be parallel, at an angle. They do look similar in size. Those are some wild die scrapes!
