Hey guys, I realize this is an extremely old post and everything, but I was hoping someone would still reply and maybe help me out. Anyway, I stumbled across this thread while trying to find more information about the same set of Atlanta Olympic coins that has been so mysterious to you guys, as well as me. I haven't been able to find any information on the set itself, only the two coins individually. I have the same set this thread was started about, with the dollar high jump coin, and the half dollar swimmer coin, in the box, with both authentication slips. Thing is, my sister also has the set too, and they were given to us by our parents in '96, and were purchased from a bank in North Carolina. While reading this whole post, it struck me as odd that a bank would sell a box set that appears to have been produced by someone other than the US Mint. I'm gonna take them to a coin shop and see if ANYONE can find some information on this, because regardless of whether it came from the US Mint or not, it DID come from somewhere. If anyone has found any more information on this since the last post in '07 (long time ago) please let me know. Thanks guys!
