    I have a 1996 D Penny with a close AM. Any value?

Sorry to tell you, close AM is the standard issue for that year and mintmark. A wide AM would be only on 98, 99, and 00 cents from Philadelphia ( no mintmark). They are the ones to look for.

If you ever do find a 1996 wide AM you can retire.

Yeah, it is the wide AM we are hunting for mostly bro. Correct me if I am wrong anyone but the only close AM we are hunting is the 1992 and 1992 D.

    Oh sheet. Sorry "sister".

Did you even bother to look at all the photos?

I don't have bionic eyes, barely have eyes, just wondered what those with eyes of an expert saw in between the columns.

I believe the 1997 wide AM is a thing to look for too.

Fair enough, but so you know, you tweaked me when you asked if I "even bothered to look at the photos". Of course I would have before responding. I'm not one of those haughty taughty elitist coin collectors for sure. Maybe you didn't mean anything by it but that sure sounded like an insult and frankly it t'd me off a bit.

I think the peer review says no so far Christina. Maybe as more look they will see something but I'd get back to hunting.

What's the wide am look like? I thought it was normal

    Close AM's on 1998 S and 1999 S are good too.
