I found a penny in pretty bad condition and it was dirty so I left it in salt and vinegar for a few hours to clean it. It's full of holes, but I just watched a video on rare coins and saw one kind was close "AM"s. You can see the coin's heads and tails here. Would it be worth anything (more than one cent)? If so how much? UPDATE: Found an identical one in much better condition. Close "AM" and wide "ME".
@Evan Xavier Hughes - care to introduce yourself? Dude your Cent is Environmentally Damaged. It's garbage. Worthless! After you marinated the Cent in Salt and vinegar, how did it taste
Secondly, if it had turned out to be a 1992 or 1992D CAM, your actions would have made it worth what you have in this 1996 one.... an essentially worthless zincoln that may or may not be able to be passed for its one cent value.
Between this and the other thread, I can't help but to wonder if the OP could be benefited by being told that dates are important, and that he should pay attention to them before he goes off on wild goose chases.
TRY THIS: LEAVE THE PENNY IN WORSTESHIRE SAUCE IN A PLASTIC CUP OR BOTTLE TOP OVERNITE....LESS ABRASIVE/BETTER RESULTS!!!!
