I have this 1995d penny that I've had in my jar for awhile. I took it out and noticed it looks like its coming apart at the rim. Is this an error or something else.

Your Cent is Copper Plated Zinc. Some kimd of corrosion on the rim. Post Mint Damage.

Welcome to CT Joy. It's just another "crappy zincoln cent." I wish the mint would do away with them altogether. In late 1982, they switched from copper alloy cents to zinc with a very thin layer of copper on it. It creates all types of anomalies and false errors, not worth more than the cent itself.
