Argumentative questioning when a response(s) is obviously correct to anyone with some basic understanding of the minting process.&nbsp; The key word is argumentative.&nbsp; Things like &quot;It can&#039;t be plated, I&#039;ve had it this silver cent in desk for 30 years, so it must be an error&quot;, just makes you shake your head.&nbsp; When this happens, you occasionally get &quot;sour grapes&quot; responses saying that we all hate new members,&nbsp; don&#039;t want to help, etc&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>2) Using the forum to answer numerous questions without any indication of trying to learn anything on their own.&nbsp; It&#039;s pretty easy to spot the same questions that come up multiple times and you know that person was given links to help them in previous posts.&nbsp; When you start seeing responses like &quot;Did you check the reference site&quot;, you know you may falling into this category.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now back to the coins you said were valuable.&nbsp; You may be slightly correct.&nbsp; Many times we will say that coin is only worth face value, when In fact it may be worth 25cents to $1. The problem is that it&#039;s going to be extremely difficult to sell this stuff.&nbsp; Dealers won&#039;t buy it and you can&#039;t make enough on ebay to cover your fees. If a dealer is buying $50 face value bags of wheat cents for $150, are you going to walk in and sell you circulation find for 3 cents? So is it really &quot;worth&quot; that if you can&#039;t sell it?&nbsp; I&#039;ve seen cool minor errors that on here that I would give you a quarter for if you showed it to me at the local coin club meeting.&nbsp; But, I&#039;m going to bother buying it on ebay.&nbsp; I suspect you may have this kind of stuff.</p><p><br /></p><p>And remember, ignore the &quot;sour grapes&quot; guys.&nbsp; There are a lot of former newbies on here, who took the time to learn and are correctly answering posts to help others[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
