That's a very nice example! I don't think I've ever found anything of any value from circulation, but I don't look at my change very frequently. When I first started collecting, I actually looked through a number of rolls...and that was enough for me!
I don't think he found it roll searching. It sounds more like he got it for a good deal, but not that good of a deal (ie at face value). I had one graded 66, paid 40 I think. Sold it though
Most likely not. It cost me less than $5.00 and I have never actually submitted anything for grading. I will just hold onto it and tuck it away with my other error coins.
I will eventually get back into roll searching but don't really have the time to get to a bank to get the rolls. I've never found anything besides 40/90% Kennedy halves. Never an error ill
Well, it's a little more then that, you payed attention to a post on cointalk yesterday and showed up for the 24 hour auction and won . Don't call that luck, hard work sounds better ...
Yes, I almost feel bad, but I gave it a fair bid, just no one else was bidding. This is the reason I do not sell on eBay. I think there was a mistake in using a 24 hour bidding opportunity. It should've been lengthened to get more views.
