1995-D Help Please. Mechanical or Am I Cross-Eyed?

Found this coin but misplaced it. I did manage to take some wonderfully crappy photos of it prior though. I'm assuming it's good Ol' Ebay Special DDO otherwise known as mechanical doubling. With it being the coin it is and that slight possibility I would rather get confirmation so I know if I should go flip house upside down to find it or keep it moving. Thanks in advance for any opinions and or advice.
I know 10 photos not needed but with it being 8mp and bad photos I will share all I have.

Thank you kind sir. Now I have 1 more and I will hit the books and see if I can't learn more before bugging you all. I ordered a book on errors from Amazon but can't think of the name. I'll check but if you know of any good titles with good illustrations on errors, how they become and or any good knowledge everyone should read if trying to make this a hobby, then please let me know.
I travel a lot and sure I can find something online but I like to actually have pages to turn. Give me something to do while travelling.
