The reverse lines are solid, not a gas bubble. I have looked at different sites and cannot find one to compare it. What type of planchet error is this? 1994revfull.jpg 1994cropbw.jpg 1994fullobv.jpg

You're welcome and save it as it's a very nice example.

I disagree with it being feeder fingers. Due to being just one single line, I believe it was a scratched planchet. @Fred Weinberg, @paddyman98, @JCro57, others?

There are other parallel lines above and below the main one. Just not as deep.

Anyone take notice of the lettering in E PLURIBUS UNUM...
I can see the contrarian view, but there is a higher probability of feeder
finger because of the uniformity and the parallel lines;a scrape of the
finger could still allow for that one deeper line...in a scratched
planchet, as proposed, you would expect a rim/edge entry point and none is visible...

I agree with @Pete Apple that it is from a feeder finger.

Those lines are raised, meaning the actual die had to have incused scratches leaving the raised area on the planchet.

Their perfectly linear appearance also suggests that as well.
