LOL</p><p><br /></p><p>I believe the coin is PMD (Post Mint Damage) something which happened after the minting process. Coins are handled by machines and sometimes they get caught in places they weren&#039;t supposed to and get banged up, pinched, cut, etc. And sometimes, people play with them or use them for things other than currency. Cents especially seem to be handy for wherever a small round piece of a good electrical conducting metal is needed. I cannot count the number I have found that were partially melted as if they were used in place of a fuse.</p><p><br /></p><p>But there are a lot of real &quot;errors&quot; and &quot;varieties&quot; out there.
