With the pronounced flow lines from a well worn die it is probably DDD. Wiser heads than mine will be along to add their knowledge and expertise
Well, you have a lot going on there. The obverse has flow lines caused by a worn die. http://www.error-ref.com/radial-flow-lines/ The almost missing/distorted devices are most likely from a filled die probably exasperated by the die wear. The reverse exhibits MD (flat and shelflike doubling)and die deterioration. http://doubleddie.com/144801.html
Welcome Brooke! I'm not an expert...many of the members on this forum will say that this coin exhibits die deterioration and wear from circulation.. I have looked at many dimes from 65 to the 90s and they often show a "fading" of in, we, and the last digit of the date...there is also something called "flow lines" on the obverse moving from Roosevelt's profile to the rim and on the reverse easily seen from the torch to the rim...about the perimeter then on both sides of the coin.... Error ref.com is a good start which describes this in proper numismatic terms...
Expat and Danomite, wasn't trying to repeat you ...so busy with one index finger typing that I didn't even notice you had already posted... more alertness next time...thank you for your patience...
