I know this is hard to demonstrate in pics...but I found this 1994 Lincoln while roll searching. When I rotate it from North to South to observe the reverse...it is upside down instead of right side up. Should I get this slabbed for 100% verification or just leave it be since it is obvious when coin is in hand?
So what your saying is when you view the face of the coin, and flip it over, the back is right side up?
Cool. Do you have a coin holder of any kind? (2x2, mylar flip, etc)? Here's how I showed one die rotation:
I put it in a 2x2 and stapled the right side with 2 staples to mark and try to show what I'm trying to explain in words. It's not quite a complete 180 degree rotation...but almost.
looks like they aren't too pricey: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Coins-Paper-Money-/11116/i.html?_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&_kw=180+degree+die but yours is in much better shape than those. I don't think it would be worth slabbing, but it's awesome! I haven't found one that extreme yet.
