1994 "D" lincoln Goofy. Has a huge Zit on his neck.

    Hello all, I came across this 1994 penny. I just got done reading the fresh post about DD very informative. So 1990 was the cut off point. Look at this 1994 "D mark" , then look at Lincoln's neck just below his ear. Is that a ZIT, or is he wearing an ear ring. Maybe he developed a mole in 1994? lol. Think this is worth anything? Any feedback would be great. as always TY

    do you not think it is interesting It blistered right under the "D" mark ?

    under the mintmark is actually one of the most common places for zinc rot to occur.
    The mintmark for some reason seems to be a little crisper than the other lettering on the coin and the copper plating splits in that location when the coin is struck creating a place for rot to begin.
