That coin didn't come from the mint in that condition.
    Now you be the judge.

I've seen better coins on a railroad track.

Road kill. (A coin that was dropped, probably in a parking lot and run over multiple times by cars. Spend it!

I voted for "Not shore" and "Trash it" because there is no way it could have received that much damage on the beach, but because it is so messed up, you should throw it away.

BTW, it's not a Liberty Quarter, it's a Washington Quarter.

What was said that was mean? It's the truth. We wouldn't lie or sugar coat anything.

Not necessarily a fake quarter, but one that seems very obvious to everyone here that it is just a beat-to-heck quarter. Don't be so sensitive, it's not as bad as middle school...by-the-way, welcome to CoinTalk. What kind of stuff do you collect or are you just checking pocket change?

You can post a picture if you like, but if it looks like the one in this post it is most likely just damaged as is this one.

Well... read the comments above to figure out more about your coin. This is not even close to being a mint error so if I were you, I wouldn’t even bother posting yours.
