I don't understand the appeal of error coins, but I guess that is my loss perhaps! None the less, I was looking through pocket change and the light must have shown just right for me to notice this dime... What kind of error is it? And does anyone want it (otherwise I am going to roll it up and deposit it in a bank unless you tell me it is worth enough to make it worthwhile to bring to my local coin shop)?
Ken's right, it's a misangled die error not worth grading but people on ebay will pay 5-10, at least you'll be making 1000 percent profit
If you put a magnifying glass up to enough dimes you will see plenty of goofy coining errors. Die chips, die cracks, weak strikes and a host of other problems. What you are seeing with the 1993 dime is fairly common.
I have a 1993P dime with very distinct double rim and it also has a doubled date and IN GOD WE TRUST is it worth anything?
Hi I have a 1993 p dime that looks weird and weighs less than other dimes. Can anyone tell me if its worth anything?
That's okay! It just makes it easier for you to find your old posts when you start your own thread. Chris
