Hi @babygirl - You sure have a good eye for seeing anomalies and catching them with your photos. You know I am not an expert but before our experts show up, I want to try to identify what I am seeing. I want to call it a spike head even though I have never seen that term associated with a nickel before. Then I want to say that it looks like a pre-cud interior die crack. Or, because I think I see cud material in that crevice formed by the die crack in your close-up photos, this might be a retained interior die break at a very early pre-cud stage. I don't see this listed anywhere. I have no opinion about the reverse of this coin. I can't wait to see what our experts say about what you have found.
