    I have a 1992D Lincoln penny it has the close AM and is also double die on both sides anyone tell me what its worth 20170902_231200.jpg

    Can you take a better picture, the reverse seems to be light washed

    A little better. But what I see is a lot of machine doubling and that's what you probably are seeing. There is one more die marker you can look at. The A in states is not going to look equal distance between the T's. The A in states will be closer to "tes" in states in the 1992 d close Am variety

    The nines and just of the fact that it's on both sides of everything makes it look like a double die to me

    If it's doubled die, it's too hard to see and likely is not worth anything in the condition that your coin is in.

    Well thanks for the info I thought it was in good condition the flash on my camera makes it look like that

    The date looks like that as a result of DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling which is common on Copper plated Zinc Cents.

    IMHO - worth 1 Cent
