It's just a damaged coin. There is no way to know for sure what was done to the coin.

What got you interested in searching for errors?

    The error alone
But I've come to learn that not all are errors from factory but from the coin being circulated so every time I see something I believe to be different I ask and this is how I'm slowly but surely learning thanks to the feed back I get

Ok now I can't tell what this coins date is I know it's a 1960"s but not Shure the 0 looks to low to be a zero though it may be being that the damage is on both sides I courious to know if this is from factory For some reason I don't think it's from circulation

It's just a damaged coin. It did not come from the mint looking like that.

Coins are struck/minted at the US Mint
