yes i weighted the cardboard and tare the scale. there's a difference of about .006 gram. then i weight the coin inside the cardboard. the color seems to be really red and i noticed the bird biting Lincoln ear.
The weight of the staples is about 6/1000th of a gram. Then the flip 2-2.5 and then the cent around 2.5. All points to the scales IMO
The question is expat, what does a PCGS or NGC or ANACS slab weigh, not to change the subject. Let's face it coins today are all off.
.. Calibrate the scale down to 0 Then show a picture of the Cent by itself. What you are stating is not possible.
Break open a slab; remove the coin; buy two identical containers of glue; glue the pieces of the slab back together using one of the two containers of glue; weigh both containers of glue; the difference in weight will be the weight of the glue used; weigh the reconstructed slab; subtract the weight of the glue; then, resubmit the coin for a new slab.
