1992 D cent

    Looks like ordinary wear with environmental damage on both sides. The right side obverse has a slight MAD but that is very common. It is a WAM, the CAM is the one you hope to find for 1992…imo…Spark

    Edited to add: To be clear, there are no errors on this coin besides the slight MAD.

    Did you look at the second 9 or the number 7 in front of the face?

    What you are probably seeing is Pareidolia. Looks like a number but it is not.
    A stain or a plating issue

    Yes, I looked at the entire coin…it’s 1. damage, 2. environmental damage and 3. circulation wear.

    The Mint did not put the numbers 7 and 2 on a special die so that you would see them in front of Lincoln’s lips/below his nose, I agree with @paddyman98 …paredolia!

    The second 9 of the date has “smushed number” syndrome caused by millions of fingers…imo…Spark
