1991 Washington quarter clad layer missing?

    I have another question I have a 19 69 half dollar and it seems to be solid silver. Even the edges are silver it's not half silver and mostly copper on the edges. If I'm right this coin should have only been 40% silver

    Yes and it is a 40% silver coin.

    If you look at the edges it is all silver. I have a 1977 that is half of the edge is silver and the other half is copper. So it seems to me that the 1969 half dollar is full silver 100% would I be correct

    There were no silver Ikes in 1977.

    Yes there were no silver Ikes in 1977. The Ike is a clad coin just your clad quarter.

    It's 40% silver. There is no cladding.

    If not my LCS gets the new ones in and reduces the older ones for $9.95. Maybe yours does the same thing.
