Ok.. Seriously now. Thanks for the better picture. Looks like normal circulation wear IMHO. But good that you ask.
I saw a 1965 quarter on eBay that looks very similar to this one for almost $7,000 The seller claims it a tarnished silver quarter. Any thoughts? I mean Etsy whatever that is
Sadly many of these sellers know nothing about coins.. That's environmental exposure toning to a clad quarter to me. Show the edge. Very important to show the 3rd side at times.
Yep it's probably cl Yep it's probably clad like mine. So I'm going to undercut him and sell mine for $3,000
I'm going to undercut all of you and put it in the tip jar at our local roach coach eatery. Thank you very much...
Yeah...but the guy on eBay is an idiot. NO ONE ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WILL PAY $7000 FOR THAT!!!!!!! Here's what I recommend. Download an app called CoinFacts from PCSG. it's a good app to get you close to what the value should be
@Rayrayford2 I'm just curious, what are you seeing that makes you believe it other than a well circulated coin? Appears to me that the mm has taken numerous hits over the years, but I've been wrong in the past. Enlighten me please.
Well you know how people who have been out to sea for a long time see mermaids or an island in the distance that really isn't there? After looking at coins until I'm blue in the face I begin to see all kinds of shapes. A repunched mint mark is nothing.
