I found this in circulation. The devices are rather “smushed” looking, or non-descript. As though struck through grease, although it could be circulation wear— I’m not totally sure. I’ve seen coins advertised as being struck thru grease that look similar to this coin, but I thought I’d have you guys take a look at it and get your opinions on it.
Do you mean that some form of damage caused the details to appear smushy? OR just that it's been through lots of circulation.
I'm with heavy circulation scratches. The greasers will often have entire letters missing, and then the letters right next to them are completely formed.
