    Hi guys,

I have this 1990 P Washington Quarter and would like to know if the error on the reverse left eagle's wing and thru "T" and "E" in United is referred to as an interior die break? If so, is this common on Quarters?

My 2nd question is about the marks on the front on Washington's neck. What are these marks? 1990 Washington Quarter (Obverse).jpg 1990 Washington Quarter (Reverse).jpg

I see a die break and a forceful reeded coin edge strike. No added value.

Yep. You nailed the break and as Robert said, a reeded coin hit on the obverse. Kind of a neat example to put in a 2x2.
