    Thank you soo much.... Can you tell me please ... When this happens, does the letters , also, often get ( fatter/wider ) and sorta appear puffy ? If that makes sense.

    Yes. Sometimes the wear is on one side (rather than around the entire letter or device) creating what looks like a doubled die.

    Yes, die wear will often make the devices seem more thick. This is because as the die wears out, the details become less sharp and stsrt to "spread" a little bit.
