1990-d penny please, the rim is a silver color

    So I have 1 more to submit, it is a 1990-d penny. Now the rim is a silver color, diffrent from the usual copper color, and the back color is a more raw copper color. Please help me, tell me more, and is it worth listing or keeping, and the value you think it may be worth. Please and thank you everybody.

    It looks like verdigris to me.

    verdigris? what is the meaning of that word? worthless 1c value?

    my penny looks just like this... the rim is raised on both sides and silver in color, almost as if it was put on top of the copper color. Have you been able to figure it out yet?

    I think this is referred to as a "Rail road" cent. I dont know why though...

    No. That is not a railroad rim.
