Hello. I have this 1989 penny that has the building stamped on the wrong side. It's clear on the "Liberty" as the letters look blocked in. But you can also see it around his chin and looks like his eyelash is long too. Also straight back from his eye it looks like a line coming from back of his head. Is this worth anything or is it a common error? I'm new to coin collecting and I found this in my pocket change. Thanks for your help! Oh and I will get more pics if needed.
Looks like a die clash error. Wait for other opinions.... calling @paddyman98 Maybe common, but I would still keep it for fun.
What you have is called a Die Clash.I don't think it adds too much value to the coin. You can read a little about it here: https://coins.thefuntimesguide.com/error_coin/
Yes to Die Clash.. I have never found one. Here is some good information.. http://www.error-ref.com/die_clash/
How refreshing @Rachael Bice to see an ACTUAL error coin in a post from someone fairly new on CT. Good eye! Regardless of value, I like your die clash. Steve
No need to see the reverse to confirm it as a die clash and a good strong one. It even shows that the coin has a rotated reverse.
