1989 P Dime. Don't know anything about it. Its copper in color. About the same color as a penny with an X on the head... No idea if its anything special. Just wondering if its anything worth holding onto. Any comments or more information about it would be greatly appreciated.
I believe somebody took off the nickel plating and the x on the head is probably a scratch someone made on it. I think it is worth keeping because it looks nice. Also if you try to spend it the cashier might think it is just a penny. Most people don't look at the coin when they hand it to you they just look at size and color. That's why sometimes you may get a Canadian coin in change.
