1989 Obv Oddity

    While some form of die deterioration or remotely even tool damage to the die is the probable cause, perhaps you would be so kind as to post something similar the next time you get one. GOOD LUCK. I've NEVER seen this characteristic on a coin of any type and I've looked at a lot of coins over the decades. Please make me :bucktooth: eat my words!

    OP, IMO that is a keeper, so far a mystery, and there are others like it somewhere. :) I'll start the bidding at $10, OP pays the shipping.
