1989 double die?

    Can someone tell me if this is a double die? What is going on with this coin?

    There is definitely something weird going on with "America". My guess is some sort of "machine" doubling but not sure. It definitely looks like something went wrong when they made this coin.

    Just a worn die strike issue.
    Not a Doubled die.

    With the exception of those 1982 Lincoln cents that were struck in 95% copper, all other Lincoln cents struck since 1982 can be identified by two words...…..Crappy Zincolns!
