Hi.. Your pictures are very blurry. Can't really see anything. Let's talk a little about Doubling so you understand it better.. Doubled Die and there are rare Tripled Die are not double struck nor triple struck issues. It's when the Die that was created had a slight shift and there was doubling in the lettering and numbers and the images. So the Die itself strikes a blank planchet once and leaves a doubling effect. What you might be seeing could be circulation wear and intentional damage. But we really need to see clear pictures.
Anthony.. I responded on your other thread concerning the same coin.. Just create 1 thread. We will see it. Still blurry pics you have shown us.
The pictures are terrible, but it almost looks like the coin is in a bezel? Definitely need better pictures.
I read and re-read the message. I am sorry I cannot make sense of your question. The photos are far too blurry to make out. I think I see several nickels stacked. Perhaps glued together. I see mention of a potential bezel which can certainly lend an odd appearance to a coin. But at the least usable photos and a discernible question are needed.
From the photos it appears you were in a room that had no windows. Go to a room that has sun light. Turn on the lights. All of them. And then do it during the day. turn OFF the cell phone flash - all it normally does is create intense reflections The put the coin on a table. Put a small box next to the coin. Put the cell phone on top of the box and take a picture that way. this helps to steady the camera CONFIRM on the phones photo album that the images are NOT blurry. If so, check the phone before you take a photo and make sure it can focus on the coin. If not then it may be too close and move it further UP. keep trying until you yourself can make out fine details on the coin. Then post the images.
