1988 P Lincoln penny ?

    Good afternoon,
    The penny doesn't look to have been struck, also where the bend is, the coin seems thicker, than tapers.
    Ps I'm working on getting a better camera, I apologise for the crappy pics.

    What you have is a case of Post Mint Damage. Somehow, it was bent after leaving the mint.

    What exactly do you mean by it doesn't look to have been struck?

    I agree with furryfrog02 I to believe it's PMD. IMO

    There is quite a mark between States & of. "S" & "O" are both flat.
    PMD for me too.

    When you use the term "struck" it suggests you're talking about when the coin itself was struck as opposed to some sort of post-mint damage. Just something to keep in mind.
