What premium does this bring? I've just got back into collecting and still learning what to look for.
Buyers would like to get one for $400. The only person I could find that might be willing to sell a D wanted many more thousands than I could offer. Of course, some sites say the Phillies are worth about $50, again, I don't think any are for sale for that amoun
I will take one of those $50 ones or three or four ;-)~ Thanks Gary! Now I have another thing to look for! Nic
Hey guys, I finally got it back. Came in at AU55, and I am not sure if it is the 2nd or 3rd in the population report. But they don't show any at a higher grade at ANACS. Sorry about the pic, it's getting darker and I can't take a decent pic for love nor money. lol I was really upset when the grader couldn't locate the order when I called them. I was afraid it was lost, and I know I will never find another. I will say this about recent roll searching here in Las Vegas, that I have found a lot more Philly mints than I used to and I am gettin many more 2009 D LP4. There are also 2010 D in nearly every roll now and I got one box with 36 new 2010 D rolls in it. Another was a full box of them. gary
Pretty much, but the position is slightly different too. Take a 1987 and lay it next to a 1989 reverse sides up. Then study the FG. They are noticably different once you see it on an actual coin rather than the pics. At least it was easier for me. Here's a link http://dvnmagazine.com/ that shows all about the P's and D's
not to change the subject, but what is that below the date? im no expert, but that doesnt look like it could have ever been an "s" looks way too much like a 5. also anyone know if that is a weird place for the blakesley effect? i thought they were supposed to be opposite the clip. congrats on your find gary
