Necrothread....real clever. The second time I've read this little number. I guess that's as cool as it gets on here....also @Kentucky way to use someone else's joke. Real original. And finally @Oldhoopster, when I shared the factual statement that I was so delighted you quoted, I hadn't posted one coin yet and wasnt expecting any opinions. My statement stemmed from watching all the so and sos jump all over a different fella with their usual go to comments. So just know, offending someone means nothing to me, a Edited You should know how I feel about other people's opinions. I mean, jesus man!! You quoted my comment, but did you even read it! Haha wow! And you should know how I feel about removing people from the forum ...so stay away from the trash talk. Thanks Jim
Two words: BOO HOO! Not attacking, defending rather, and like clockwork, I tell it like it really is, and the ones I am talking about, most offended, chime right in! Truly amazing! Thank you!
Bob, no one has to agree with anyone, but the crap talking is not needed. Show us your best coin or not, but stay away from personal comments not about coins. And this goes for all! Next one hurts. Thanks Jim
nickel steel hatchet? I prefer to use Granfors Bruks stuff. but they don't polish well to show one's reflection.
I save all my 1988 cents. Hopping to find a 89 reverse. Can't see well enough to tell. They're in big peanut butter jugs. (the big ones) don't know why, but I'd like to be able to see just one 89 reverse. Also which one is harder to find. P's or D's. Sorry @usmarble if i jumped your thread. And where did you go
You icon photo skills sox also. Also. I think when your ma gives you good advice you probably degrade her also. Go play on the highway
Cheech re-read my comment above. I said it applied to ALL. Stop the personal comments, stick with coins.....you will be happier, Jim
The new guy started it all and has shown no desire to discuss coins. He's trolling and should be removed. Simple as that.
We can all do better with staying on topic. Threads like this get folks in trouble. We can't break the rules, even if someone else has.
and perhaps in other forums, they will show up and post "CT banned me and I didn't do anything!!!!!". But they will still be banned from the best coin forum on the internet, IMO. Jim
I apologize, if I have offended anyone that doesn't feel urge to backlash, I do this when I join a forum so as to weed out the ones who get rattled. I now can ignore these people. Easy as that. Again It is just a means to have a more unbiased experience on the forum. It's pretty systematic and works like a charm, always has. Now that I have those fellas out of the way I am ready to move forward with what this forum, which I am sure is a great forum, has to offer. Thank you for your patience.
I simply just go thru a run of sandpaper grits. All by hand, and then mothers polish, by hand. By hand so as to feel when it's time to go to the next grit. Kinda like drumming...I play with no shoes, to feel...
I honestly don't know what the axe is made of..some say to leave the patina, and I know I am removing value, but I am not selling it, it's more valuable to me when its shiny!
I think your premise is flawed with your "weeding out " process. Several of the ones you likely consider as such are very informed. So far, it is you that have not proven anything to us as to how serious to take your presentation. We haven't seen a coin or read an informative answer from you to any question others may ask. Looking forward to your future postings. Jim
